About Me
My Story
I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, retired School Psychologist, and an aerial performer and instructor. My own health journey began at the age of 29 when I was tired of being tired. I had dealt with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, weight and fitness level yo-yoing, an eating disorder, and a mood disorder. After trying all the latest fad diets that did not work, I took a very different approach where I focused on not just physical changes but mental and emotional ones as well . After really seeing changes based on changing nutrition, exercise methods, kind and compassionate self-talk and self-care, and eventually mindfulness practices, I realized I also wanted to help others feel empowered in their health journey. Here I am a fit, middle-aged woman who stopped rigid dieting, over-exercising, counting calories, and shaming myself for not being "perfect". I focus now on progress over perfection! I am much further in my mental and physical health and know that I am called to help others in their journey as well. I am here to support you in your own personalized journey to be your "bestest self". We will start with a health history to help you develop goals and incorporate holistic practices in such areas as nutrition, movement, sleep, mindfulness, and self-care to become the "bestest" version of yourself.
